Many people find themselves having to change how they work or change the work they do as a result of an illness or disability. Gilles has been providing Vocational Rehabilitation services to many individuals through a number of insurance companies for 6 years now. Vocational Rehabilitation services are typically offered through insurance companies however, employers have used these services to help their employees return to work. Employees can have access to these services as well. Vocational rehabilitation involves:

1. Helping the employee to go back to their own job (if the medical evidence suggests it is possible) by developing a Gradual Return to Work Program or
2. Helping the employee to go back to a modified or alternate position (depending on the employee's restrictions) with the employer or
3. Helping the employee to move on to other work out in the workforce, helping the individual to discover what else they can do and helping them to become productive and self-sufficient through a comprehensive assessment and career coaching process.
